NEDAR Foundation facilitated11 Entrepreneurs to get a sponsored motorized wheelchairwhich is helping them to lead a better life & conduct business.
IMPACT
Azeem who is part of NEDAR Foundation Team now, earlier he was part of NEDAR Network. He got Neofly under this collaboration - shared that he has been able to take up an office job easily because of better mobility due to this wheelchair and able to save approx. Rs. 3000 which he used to spend on travel through public transport.
Farooq is a wheelchair user, and despite his disability, he is determined to make a difference in the world. he was provided computer by the NEDAR Foundation, through the support of DEF soochna preneur to start business of CSC. He run a successful Common Service Centre in his area, providing various digital services to the community. However, Farooq often found it challenging to maneuver his normal wheelchair through the rough and uneven terrain of his area, which made it difficult for him to travel to different places and conduct his business effectively.
With his new mobility device, Farooq's life transformed. He no longer has to rely on others to help him get around, and he could now traverse the area independently, reaching out to more people with his services. The Neo Bolt also enabled Farooq to expand his business, as he can now visit neighboring areas and communities to offer his digital services, which was something he only used to dream of before.
